PTSD treatment and coaching

We have been working for a number of years to identify the best treatments for PTSD, and to research how meditation and other forms of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) fit in with current evidence-based PTSD treatments. A number of studies have been done with veterans, first responders, victims of crime, refuges, and survivors of natural disasters, and based on these, we now offer the following innovative PTSD treatments, training and coaching:

6-Month Intensive PTSD Treatment

The core of this program is a one-month in-residence PTSD treatment intensive. Prior to the in-residence component, clients spend one to three months in preparation, learning about PTSD and different approaches to PTSD recovery, as well as learning the basics of meditation, yoga, and ayurveda. Following the in-residence PTSD treatment, the client continues to be guided, supported and supervised in their recovery. All healing modalities use verified "evidence-based medicine" approaches. Both Western and Eastern approaches are used.

Other formats are possible: three-week private (individual) in-residence intensive; two-week outpatient intensive; and two-month weekends outpatient course.

PTSD Coaching

Private, individual coaching sessions.

PTSD Recovery: A Ten-Lesson Series of Seminars

The ten-lesson PTSD treatment series is a self-directed course in seminar format. Each seminar consists of preparation reading and work, a seminar with the instructor, and follow up homework. This course is primarily for those with PTSD, but is also useful for doctors and counselors to learn new strategies for treating PTSD.
